Filming of the new third season is taking place again in the United States of America in the state of Georgia in Covington and Atlanta.

Filming begins in July 2022 with the official sweet magnolia Page posting that they will start filming on July 18, 2022. His post included the following caption:

According to multiple posts, Norman Buckley, who directed several episodes of the show, is expected to return to the director’s chair. Buckley also continues to serve as the show’s co-executive producer.
On September 3, 2022, Sherrill J. Anderson posted that they were halfway through filming on Instagram, where the showrunner thanked a gelato stall, saying:
“Thank you so much @dulceartisangelato for helping us celebrate Halfway Day!!! It’s hard to believe we’ve shot half of Season 3. Time flies when you are working with the people you love!!!”
Production was confirmed to end on October 21, 2022.
Sherrill J. Anderson posted to confirm the rap saying in tweet,
“We wrapped up shooting for Season 3 last night. It’s been a pleasure to spend another season aboard Serenity, working, laughing with, and learning from the amazing cast and crew in the cast and crew. Our community has created something beautiful for you. I am grateful to them and excited to see it!!!”

Considering that it takes 6-9 months to complete the post-production of the show, we are expecting season 3 of sweet magnolia To arrive in Spring 2023, but it could be as late as Summer/Fall 2023.
